OFFICER REPORTS
Assistant Treasurer – Katie Gephart-Hall
- Sell cookies with help of Mimi
o Idea to sell at the Farmer’s Market

COMMITTEE REPORTS
Press and Publicity Committee Chair– Miles Clark
- Created the Instagram page and has posted frequently
- Created a schedule for things to post content
o Committees will have access to this
Upon motion made by Miriam Pickett, and duly seconded by Donna Levy, it was voted to accept the Press and Publicity Report.

Entertainment Committee Chairs – Donna Levy & Norah Martin
- Movie night, Black Panther, Nov. 6th
Upon motion made by Faith Stauffer, and duly seconded by Katie Gephart- Hall, it was voted to accept the Entertainment Report.

Youth Employment and Economic Empowerment Chair – Soleil La’Jour Staggs
- Found an adult certificate called 360 COVID Awareness Training to confirm adults understand about COVID-19 https://www.360training.com/course/coronavirus-awareness
Upon motion made by Faith Stauffer, and duly seconded by Donna Levy, it was voted to accept the Youth Employment and Economic Empowerment Report.

Community Coordination Chair – Miriam Pickett
- Zoom with Delco CPR
Upon motion made by Katie Gephart-Hall, and duly seconded by Faith Stauffer, it was voted to accept the Community Coordination Report.

Finance Chair – Briona Morris
- Nothing to Report
Upon motion made by Katie Gephart-Hall, and duly seconded by Faith Stauffer, it was voted to accept the Finance Report.

Halloween Event
- Link to participate in live stream, if not able to join

Tasks
Membership
- contact Media Farmers Market to get ahold of a table for NAACP
o the idea to hand out flyers and sell baked goods
- contact Senta to receive her contacts from the Media Farmers Market
Finance
- Donation Management
o will receive information on donation account [GoFundMe]
o Check donations live during events
o analyze and document things such as:
 Are people donating at the event or not at the event?
 Where are the gift cards going to?
- Make sure you are in contact with the Treasurer
Political Action
• Create statements for as far as voting and the census deadline change at the end of October
o create that as a graphic to be posted on Facebook and Instagram
o Reminder: nonpartisan
• Create statements on issues that are being seen on the news throughout the common months
• Finalize the idea of Throwback Thursday posts and On This Day posts
Community Coordination
• Creating and in charge of the Fall Basket Raffle for Friday, October 30th
o buy and put together the basket
o deliver the basket to the winner
• Find events and things the council can participate in
• Find events and things someone from the council could speak in
• Attend the Women's Festival as volunteers [ more details to come]
Youth Employment & Economic Empowerment
• Media Fair Trade/ Fair Trade Month
( October)
o Media is the first Fair Trade Town
o Create a post or video explaining Fair Trade
Education
• Reach out to schools and school districts in Media and surrounding areas about speaking in classes [in-person or zoom] about the youth council
o If speaking is denied, request the membership flyers be posted, handed out, sent to students.
Entertainment
• Break activities
o During General Meetings, there will be a 10-15-minute break, so the meetings aren't all about business
o Ideas: Kahoot, Scavenger Hunt, think of more ideas


Upon motion made by Faith Stauffer, and duly seconded by Katie Gephart-Hall, it was voted to adjourn the meeting at 11 am.
